The founding executive director of the Ventura Film Festival was honored to take part, together with many of Hollywood's biggest stars, in the 50th Anniversary of West Side Story and Hollywood's famous footprint/handprint ceremony recognizing Oscar winners Rita Moreno, George Chakiris, and legendary actor Golden Globe recipient Russ Tamblyn at the legendary Chinese Theater in Hollywood. This event also doubled as the official BluRay launch by Fox and MGM of the iconic West Side Story, which is broadly regarded by critics and fans here as the finest musical of all time.
